What is Post-Concussion Syndrome?
Description, symptoms, and diagnostic methods for post-concussion syndrome.
Mary Simons is a two-time Olympic athlete in track and field, winning silver at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Mary had a vision to create a modern, high performance facility in Toronto, similar to other facilities she’s visited in Europe.
During her athletic training, she was fortunate to receive some of the best care from a team of experienced physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists. Her support team is one of the factors that contributed to Mary’s athletic success and she wants to share this experience with other athletes looking to elevate their game.
After retiring from track and field, Mary completed a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2014. Mary has been affiliated with the University of Toronto’s Physical Therapy program for years, as a guest lecturer, clinical reasoning tutor, clinical internship instructor, and peer coach. She regularly mentors other physiotherapists and athletes to share her expertise and develop their skills.
